Rules:

• Must be under 21 years of age as of January 1 of the current year.
• Points are only assigned for Showmanship classes.
• Junior must have shown a registered shorthorn animal in the Showmanship class.
• Provide a picture of yourself at the show with your calf. (Does not need to professional photograph)
• Junior/Guardian must provide results (with a picture of the program) within 30 days of the event. Google form must be filled in.

The following shows will be included as Point System shows (permitting they occur):

• Spring 4ward Jr. Beef
• Youth Forum Beef Show
• National Junior Shorthorn Show
• Your 4-H Achievement day
• Emerson Clark Junior Shorthorn Show (Royal Winter Fair)
• National Junior Beef Heifer Show (Royal Winter Fair)
• Local Ontario Fair with more than 15 animals in attendance.

The points will be as follows:

• 1st – 10 points
• 2nd – 8 points
• 3rd – 6 points
• Everyone else that participated – 4 points

The Champion will receive a bonus of 2 points, Reserve will receive a bonus 1 point.

So get out there to as many point shows as possible and do your best.

3-5 placing: $100 each
